Julianny Ariza Vólquez

Julianny Ariza Vólquez (1987, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic)
Dominican visual artist. She has participated in art residencies like the Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) organized with Casa Ma from Costa Rica, and The Livingstone Office for Contemporary Art (LoCA) from Zambia, Africa (2021), the Künstlerhaus Schloss Balmoral, Germany (2013) and AS220, U.S. (2012). Julianny was awarded at the 28th Eduardo Leon Jimenes Art Contest (2021) and at the 27th National Biennial of Visual Arts from D. R. (2013). She's co-creator of the dominican art publication project Onto. She graduated from Escuela Nacional de Artes Visuales, D. R. (2008) and Altos de Chavon School of Design (2010).
