José Rozón

José Rozón was born in Santiago, Dominican Republic. His background in art starts as an actor in local small theatre groups (Coturno Teatro 2014-2018) and Utopia Teatro (2014-ongoing). In 2017 starts his Visual Communications & photography studies in Chavón: La Escuela de Diseño.
His first collective exhibition was under Premio Joven de La Imágen in Centro de la Imágen, Santo Domingo (2021) talking about his thoughts and experiences with the landscape. He is the leading photographer and founder of Comalo.info (2021) a digital platform that talks about food origins and the culture around food in the Caribbean.
