Growing up in the Caribbean at the turn of the millennium, I feel part of a generation who grew up way too estranged from their own culture. In the process of trying to become a filmmaker, I have become aware of these issues and the role the media plays in them -
for good or bad-. For me, this is a process of self-discovery that translates into the discovery of the people and the world around us. I want to use my work as a way to explore the curiosities and questions that concern me -or that I lack- and to share them with others through this mysterious, shamanic, yet beautiful way of communication.
