Rachel Chin

Rachel Chin is a filmmaker and researcher from Kingston, Jamaica. A screenwriter, story editor and director, she brings a DIY sensibility to the Jamaican film scene.
In 2017, she was awarded the Beesen Global Research Fellowship. In 2019, she was selected for the second cohort of the JAFTA-JAMPRO-British Council Feature Film Lab. Her first feature screenplay is part of the official selection for the 2021 Bahamas International Film Festival Screenwriter’s Residency. Her first student short film was selected for the 2021 Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival.
