"Sidney Thorpe" - Jamaica

I have been a professional musician for over forty years, and have been performing at the highest level for all of those years. Since leaving the Salvation Army School for the Blind in 1979, in addition to doing courses at the then Jamaica School of Music and the Foster Davis School of Music, I became a member of the world famous Fab 5 aggregation and as such I have performed with some of the biggest names in global entertainment. I have been complimented on my perfect pitch, my “encyclopaedic knowledge” of most forms of music, including instant recall of even the oldest songs and my ability on electronic keyboards.
In my personal career, I have been a studio musician for some of Jamaica’s most celebrated recording artistes and “have established an unblemished reputation as a provider of light entertainment” and master of ceremonies for various events. “His arranging and producing abilities have also been tested on a variety of albums for artistes in the gospel, pop and reggae idioms.” I am also a popular voice for the production of radio and television commercials and promos as well as hosted several radio programmes.
All of my audio productions are done digitally. I am still evolving.
