Mikayla Justine Salmon: As a Fashion designer, I have love, lived and learnt the art of fashion all of my life. In retrospect, I cannot remember a time where I was not sketching or creating art. Even at the tender age of 6 years old, I was already sewing outfits for my dolls. Fashion Designing and sewing (other art forms as well that’s not limited to fashion) is a common thread which makes up my DNA. Being able to use my mind and hands to create something out of nothing will always be a euphoric feeling for me. Whatever I learn as a creative, I apply to my small business and pass it on to my peers. Helping others and sharing the knowledge I’ve acquired over the years is such an amazing feeling; being able to impact another generation of budding creatives is fulfilling and humbling.
