My name is Mickell Pierre, better known as "Boots / The Government Boots". "Boots" is a multi-genre, multifaceted artist who lives for the moment and brings out nothing but the best in people. Mickell Pierre attended St. Mary's College (CIC) and further went on to acquiring his Bachelor's in Fine Arts at the University of Trinidad & Tobago (UTT). I've been in music all my life firstly majoring in the
steelpan from the age of three (3). I played pan for 17 years and I'm currently on my path to becoming the greatest artist the world has ever seen. I need this grant because I'd love to acquire some assets (headphones, mic, interface etc.) To halt me having to pay studio time every time inspiration hits.
