Shirvon Vigilante
Shirvon Dannon Vigilante, or most of you know him as Shirvy was born on January 13th 1995. Shirvon started his education journey at the Canefield Pre-School he then moved on to the Mahuat Primary School, at grade three (3) he was then transferred to the Seven Days Adventist school where he received award’s in the category of arts. His Secondary education level started at the Goodwill Secondary School where he graduated with merits and got the awards for music, arts, dance, theatre, outstanding sports man, Dedication, communication, commitment and the list go on. Through this he furthered his education at Dominica State Collage and completed a short course at UWI. Shirvon is also the owner a small business “ShirStar Entertainment.
In 2011 Shirvon received the award for “Young artists award of 2011”, Shirvon moved on to further his skill in drumming, cultural instruments and dance under the guidance of cultural division and Michael Ferrol. With this, he is a member of NAISSANCE Cultural dance group, Paix Bouche drummers, the Petite Savanne Jing Ping Band and Soca Stricker’s FC. Shirvon also render’s his service in the teaching of cultural dances and drumming in the districts of West and South West and also in the making of cultural instruments. Shirvon was also one of the top drummers at the 2020 CARIFESTA and also continue his career here in Dominica and abroad.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL, SHIRVON LOOKS AT HIS SON EVERY MORNING AND GOES DAILY REMINDING HIS SELF OF HIS SLOGAN “ONE DAY AT A TIME, with JAH GUIDE TOUTE BAGAI KOOL”
