Jean Gordimy Lucien

My name is Gordimy Jean, I am a Haitian artist and educator living in the Dominican Republic.
I am 32 years old; I am until now the only Haitian graduate from the National School of Dramatic Art (Escuela Nacional de Arte Dramático). In 2018 I founded CADORIGEN a non-profit institution with artistic, educational and cultural character.
In addition to being graduated as theater technician, mention theatrical pedagogy, I am a cultural manager, interpreter and translator of literary works. Previously I have worked as a theater teacher for children from vulnerable sectors, I was a technician and in charge of the Teatro Guloya. With CADORIGEN I am dedicated to support, advise and organize activities, projects and programs to develop lasting relationships between artists from Haiti and the Dominican Republic. We work in three main areas, human rights, education and integration. We are mainly dedicated to create bridges between artists and the performing arts of bough country. I dedicate part of my work to guide Haitians that wants to make graduate and post graduate studies in the Dominican Republic.
