I am a 24-year community renowned disc joc who has been playing music at events such as birthday parties, weddings, dancehall events and bars. Since the age of 15, I have taken passionately to the skill and it moved from a hobby to passion to career as the need arose for me to become the breadwinner for my now 3-year old twin sons.
The peak of my journey so far has been my stint as the resident Dj at Dunn’s River Falls for nearly two years, a job which I had to resign in order to care better for my sons for which I became the sole carer in 2020.
My skills have become excellent over the years and I am the go-to Dj in the area for events. Whether or not I am being paid well (and sometimes none at all), I play because music is life and dancehall cyaa stall.
It is my dream to play at a Kingston event and eventually get some airtime on national radio and subsequently work my way into becoming a full-time, on air, dis joc.
