Lia Bidó

Lia Bidó Féliz is a Dominican illustrator and visual artist. Born in Santo Domingo, she’s been interested in visual and scenic arts since she was old enough to hold a crayon. Continuing with these interests from a young age, she enrols in various extracurricular theatre, music and art classes throughout her youth. In 2019, Bidó graduates from Chavón: The Design School in Santo Domingo with an Associate’s Degree in Visual Communication specialized in Illustration. Shortly after, she was granted a partial scholarship from The New School in New York City, where she studied for another two years. After graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Illustration in 2021, she started exploring different mediums such as soft sculpture and even makeup artistry. Lia currently lives and works in Santo Domingo as a freelance artist.
