Khristina Godfrey
'HeavyMannaz' - Jamaica
Khristina Godfrey is a practicing visual artist and designer at HeavyMannaz, a multidisciplinary studio merging research and fine art to design collections that archive the Jamaican experience. Since 2016, she has explored and created five limited-edition bag collections that archive experiences related to the correlation between politics and violence in 1970 -1980 and currently south-east coast protected lands. She continues to support the development of the arts in various capacities such as photographer, creative director, programme manager and art facilitator. Godfrey is a graduate of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts where she graduated in 2015 in Painting.
